About the Program

Finish@UT is a fully online, bachelor’s degree completion program for individuals who have already completed their core credit hours. The program offers several fully online bachelor’s degrees from accredited University of Texas System institutions: The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), The University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB), and The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV).

Broad degree options and accelerated 7- to 15-week courses allow you to tailor the program to meet your interests and career goals. Although Finish@UT courses are academically rigorous and follow a specified calendar, the accelerated timeframe and online format offer you the flexibility to take courses during times and locations convenient for your life. All Finish@UT courses are offered fully online and campus visits are not required.

The degrees offered through Finish@UT focus on helping students build highly sought-after skills in communication, research, problem solving, and critical thinking. You’ll obtain a well-rounded, quality education that will help open doors to a variety of career opportunities or further graduate study.

Finish@UT Academic Affairs Committee

An Academic Affairs Committee (AAC) has been constituted for the Finish@UT program. It consists of no more than two faculty members from each participating institution, appointed by the dean of each respective college. This committee is responsible for the quality of all deliverables associated with the program and will take a proactive role in ensuring that all content, prerequisites, simulations, and faculty are appropriately selected and properly utilized. This way, each institution is able to maintain academic control over the quality of the program.

The Finish@UT Academic Affairs Committee has developed a Handbook of Operating Procedures for the program.
