Description: On the back way out or in to the Town Of Ronceverte is Chesapeake Street. Town Police set in the trees and will write anyone a ticket. You can not see the Police car till you have passed by it and then all you see is blue lights in the rear window. Then all you do here is sign by the x.

  I agree that Chesapeake Street is heavily patrolled. It seems especially so when people get off work between the hours of 4 to 7 in the evening. The area at the bottom of Ronceverte hill on 219 near the four way stop is also heavily patrolled. The speed limit goes from 25 to 40 to 55 going up the hill but is only 40 going down the hill.I live in Ronceverte.

  I disargee, this is the first year since that road his been policed that the guardrail has not had to be replaced and a residence fence did not need replacing. So, I think it is more a saftey trap than a speed trap.

  They sit by the water tower at night and usually at the curve in the mornings but I think he's got a secret lover who meets him there because I see him talking to a women there in a car around 4 or 5 in the morning.

  Watch before going over the bridge. Cops like sitting there getting people for going left of center near the gas station.

  I do not agree with the comment I have never seen a police vehicle in the trees on chesapeake.
