I would like to see a straight speed limit as I was pulled over and accused of not wearing my seatbelt and was traveling 47 mph in a 35 mph zone. First of all, I always wear my seatbelt and I may have been going about 40 mph. I would also like to comment how rude the officer was. I was not ticketed and I feel rightfully so. I understand the rules of the road and feel I was targeted for no reason. Please have your force pick on someone who is really doing something wrong.

I think the speed limit in this area is outdated, like from the late 60's to early 70's when the "Lovel Building" was actually an elementary school. Also could be due to the main crossing at Lexington and Lake Drive. A lot of pedestrian traffic in this area warrants reduction in speed, besides the speed limit for most of Lexington Avenue south of 35-W is 45 mph and only drops to 30 mph for a short time.

Agree, It shouldn't be less than 40mph on a four lane stretch.

This is still very true and it's really dumb that the speed limits change so much within a matter of a couple of mile, they should decide on one speed limit for that whole stretch and stick with it. I am referring to the entire stretch from County Road J to Lake Drive
