Speed Trap at Lincoln Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA
- Los Angeles, CA
-
2
- Latitude: 33.9528
- Longitude: -118.397
- Description: Going north after you pass the Lincoln/Sepulveda split there is a straight stretch of road that parallels the runway at LAX. At the end of this the road curves to the right. There is often a policeman waiting just before the curve with a radar gun in the early morning (because there is not much traffic so people are going fast). In the afternoon, going south, the police will be waiting at the end of the straight stretch of road just before the junction of Lincoln into Sepulveda. They will be there a few days in a row, then leave for a month or so, then come back. I got a ticket for going 61 in a 55.

Also on the back end on Pershing just befor you get to Loyola way, watch out the speed limit changes from 55mph to 35mph and they are waiting on a side street, with radar gun in hand.

Be carefull on all the major streets around LAX, Pershing, Imperial and Sepulveda. LAX police patrol this area along with LAPD because it's on LAX land.
