- Description: A busy street that many people take to get to bypass backed up I 10 traffic. Cops hide behind trees on Toulouse and then pull you over on the side street. I've seen car after car being pulled over. This is probably one of JPSO's prime spots for their deputies to make quota.

I can attest to this as I live in the neighborhood and use this cross street all the time, and have seen the cop there on many occassions but since I'm coming from behind him, I always stop. However, the one day (a Saturday) when I was travelling down Oaklawn to turn on Toulouse, the cop got me for going 10 miles over the speed limit. Be careful as there is an awful lot of traffic on Oaklawn now with all of the I-10 construction.
