  This is undoubtedly a speed trap. I was merely passing through on the way to a friend's house, not knowing the area or where I was going for that matter. The officer was parked about 20 yards past the first official posted 25 mph sign in a car wash parking lot. Wrote it up for 40/25, but it's still 3 points on my driving record. Avoid this at all costs. Cop was very disrespectful and used tacky cliches when addressing me.

  I would like to make a point to say that the speed limit entering town is not 55mph. It is 35mph just like the sign on the curve says. The problem is that no one does 35 mph through that curve, and in fact usualy are doing 60mph. I have driven through Armada twice a day for the last 15 years and most of the time I do exceed the speed limit. I was pulled over one time and was given a warning, no ticket.

  Armada is terrible, I am a fire fighter who commutes through the town to get to work. I no longer go this way due to the harassing police force. I will get my pie elsewhere.

  I got a ticket for going 29 in the 25 zone. Fought it and won. No way to slow my full-size van without jamming the brakes on. Be careful, I go through here all the time and the police are sitting at the grain elevator almost every day.

  I have lived in Armada all my life. Most villages have 25 mph speed limits because they are residential areas. This is not Armada's only source of revenue and I have never known anyone to get a ticket for only a couple miles over the speed limit. I have my share of speeding tickets but I have never gotten one in Armada.
