1 drink 5 hours previously. Pulled over in a parking lot. Made to do many inebriation checking drills. Upset that I was passing, the cop made me pick up my gum that I had spit out (at his request) and throw it away in a trashcan a bit away from where I was parked.

I got my first and only ticket there. It was late at night and towards the end of the month. I was totally aware and trying to slow down because there is a slight hill after the light by Harris Teeter's. I still got pulled over going 4 over.

Yes, this is definitely a DUI trap, friend of mine got one there several months ago, he had left the Villager Inn bar in Hillsboro Village.

This is not a speed trap. This is a DUI trap. They are not looking for kids. They are looking for any excuse to pull over people leaving the downtown, West End, and Hillsboro Village night spots. This is where that Titans asst coach got his DUI. Beware.

In this segment of road they are there a lot on weekend evenings looking for intoxicated drivers. They check speeds and make sure your lights are on.
