- Description: •Right before Mopac crosses over 71, there are usually a pair of unmarked cop cars radaring people. They will sometimes pull over 2 cars at a time. Their location is always the same. (Right before the bridge).

•There is no such thing as a cushion here in Austin, someone always cuts in because they want to get at least 1 car in front of you. I had a guy get out of his car as we were stopped to yell at me for allowing a couple of cars to get in. Welcome to Texas!

They have the 2 wheel motion going now. Near the lamp post just coming off the William Cannon exit heading north to the bridge, running laser. They are harder to spot than those Crown Vics used a few months ago. Look out!

Another view might be if this is a high collision area or due to the slow traffic they could be looking for "road rage." I know I have been flipped off and cut off a couple of times because I leave a couple car links between me and the car in front of me.

I've noticed this as well but never understood it. During the a.m. rush hour, traffic never exceeds 5 mph!
