The warning sign is not well placed as someone said, also it is written on a narrow board with tiny lettering, nearly immpossible to see, if they are to put up a sign it should be legible which this is clearly not, the fact that they made it illegible indicates they are not playing by their own rules

How hard is it not to break the law? I know, that if I were tear-assing around your neighborhood with your kids around, you would have me in a sling. Don't break the law, and you wont have to open your wallet... do the math.

If people didn't break the speed or signal law, there would be no need for speed traps!

I have never seen anyone as strict as Beaverton about traffic violations in my life!

Yes, I've been caught here. This intersection light has a yellow light for about 1.8 seconds. All other traffic lights in the area without the stationary photo system is 3-4 seconds.

I got stung by this photo radar site and it cost me $195, no refund whatsoever from my letter sent in.

First of all, the warning signs are way more than 150' and is well marked. The problem is, people don't even notice because they're not thinking about their speed, just their destination and being in a hurry. Go figure, no ticket if you go the speed limit. Plus I understand that they give you some extra miles per hour over the speed limit. If you speed in Beaverton, chances are that you will eventually find yourself in possession of a ticket. Beaverton is a wonderful place to live, I just believe in the system and the way they are trying to slow down speeders and reduce the accident rates. Thank You.
