Description: Police will park their patrol car behind a landscape company's sign and against the foliage so they are out of sight until it is too late... The speed limit is only 30mph and this road is heavily used to get to and from Hwy 119 and Hwy 31.

  This is also a favorite hangout for their agressive license, registration and insurance checks. They work with a wrecker service to impound your vehicle and leave you standing on the roadside. Alabaster Police are far too agressive in what they percieve as traffic enforcement.

  Absolutely! The city of Alabaster sets it's speed limits ridiculously low all over town and then enforces them without tolerance. City Hall is the culprit; the cops have their marching orders.

  Boys, you'd better watch this one. I drove this for three years and you never knew when they would be there until you were up on them!

  Concur. See them there almost every trip along that route. There are a couple more places along that stretch they hang out too!
