They are facing north or south depending upon type of day.
If you are going southbound ,do NOT ride the shoulder in the AM,by exit 148 SOUTH they will nail you just past the exit.

  This report is not precise. The SP Barracks are northbound past exit 151. The observation of drivers being ticketed on the shoulder is at exit 148 and the actual toll is southbound at 150. That puts this "trap" all over the map and pretty useless as far as avoidance goes. BTW, I don't believe a cop would waste his time writing plate numbers down at a toll booth. He would just pull you over. Plate numbers are all recorded by high speed film nowadays.

  These are state troopers trying to slow down the idiots that insist on doing 65mph or better in a 55mph area.
