Yes, that's where they are and riding right with you in several types of unmarked cars. Before you know it the lights go on. Between Eagle River and Eklutna 10 mile stretch has several speed traps they work as a team.

I've seen them, too. Especially in the summer they like to hide in the shade under the North Eagle River Exit Bridge, (the Fred Meyers exit) So slow down before you go around the bend before the exit.
