Description: The speed limit is 35 from where Rt 91 leaves Rt 236 near South Berwick to where it enters the town of York (roughly 4 miles, at which point it goes up to 45, police enforce the 35 limit assiduously. The character of the housing density does not change when the limit goes up in York.

    You really have to be speeding to get a SBPD officer to pull you over. In all the ride-alongs I've done with them they do not pull anyone over unless they are doing At Least 15mph over the posted speed limit. In the area you are referring to, people coming from York tend to be doing 55+ over that hill, and then they are alrady doing 20mph over the limit.
