    It's well known for its traps and I have seen many people stopped over the years.

    I grew up in Fordyce, and still regularly visit family there. I have never once been stoped on what we call "the 4 lane" (67/167 is the only 4 lane road in town). I've even been known to hit 80 from walmat to the red light. Everyone speeds through there, and I seldom see anyone actually pulled over.

    The speed zone drops mentioned before are due largely to the amount of accidents and deaths that have occurred over that small (apx. 2 mile strip). But it always has been a huge speed trap, I agree.
